You're Doing What?

Every month I will embark upon a new venture. These ventures needn't be especially grand, ground breaking nor original, in fact I only intend to make £500 in the first month, but, and here's the crux, each venture should continue to generate £500 in subsequent months despite being paid less attention than a ginger step-child.

This will be my full time job. I quit the old one. If all goes to plan I'll be able to kick back in 12 months time and watch as my bank balance ticks up by £6k a month.

This isn't 'get rich quick'. More 'get richer quicker'. I am unlikely to become a millionaire doing this, but it could just be my ticket out of the rat race. At the very least I hope to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!

How Exactly?

Basically anything goes. Initially however, I will focus on ventures that compliment my core skills. I've spent the last ten years as a graphic designer in some form or another and the computer will be my biggest ally. What's more, I've read the first three chapters of Marketing for Dummies. So move over Sir Alan, there's a new man in town.

What I don't know I'll learn. What I can't learn I'll make up. As of now I am the master of my own destiny. I may not necessarily do things the right way, but I will do them my way, with no-one to blame but myself when it all goes horribly wrong. That suits me just fine; the buck just fell over and died right here.

I feel empowered, inspired and ruthlessly optimistic. I know this can work. I will make it work. Just as soon as Neighbours has finished...

About These 'Ideas'...

Alas I have not been handed a mystical list of ingenious money making schemes. I'm going to have to write that myself as I go along. To read about my current venture and others before it click here.

A venture will be considered successful when it brings in, and sustains, £500 per month. The whole project will be considered a success when I am earning what I used to earn a month without all the crap that comes with full time employment.
